The Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) has made its frontline services more accessible to the public in the northern part of its service area.

Today, January 28, 2025, MCWD officially opened its Customer Service Hub at SM Consolacion, the latest addition to the SM Government Service Express center. Two MCWD Customer Service Officers are assigned to the hub, which operates daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on weekends and holidays.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado, MCWD Board of Directors Chairman Miguelito Pato, Vice Chairman Jodelyn May Seno, Director Marlo Maamo, SM Mall Manager Estrella Wamilda, General Manager Edgar Donoso, and members of the MCWD Executive Committee.
With the opening of the Customer Service Hub, residents from Compostela, Liloan, Consolacion, and even Mandaue City no longer need to visit the MCWD main office for frontline services. These new services complement the existing bills payment option available at the SM Bills Payment Center for several years.

The Customer Service Hub offers the following services — Application for Residential Connection, Transfer of Meter Location, Commercial Connection, Change in Meter Size, Change of Consumer’s Name with Deed of Assignment, Reopening Without Meter, Permanent Disconnection, Senior Citizen Discount, Transfer-Tapping, Transfer of Meter Location, Complaints on a Stolen Meter, and Meter Replacement.

The hub also processes Complaints on High Consumption, Requests for Meter Tests (MCWD consumers only), Complaints on No Water, Complaints on Unrestored Digging, Reports on Pipe Leakages, Requests for Control Valve Installation, Requests for Relocation of Meter Stand or Stub-out, Billing Delivery Concerns, and Consumer Information Updates.
