Klase sa mga public elementary ug high schools sa Talisay City, Cebu gisuspenso tungod sa linog

GISUSPENSO ni Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas ang klase sa mga public schools sa elementarya ug sekondarya sa Talisay City karong adlawa human sa magnitude 5.7 nga linog nga miigo sa Leyte apan nabatyagan ang pagtay-og bisan sa Sugbo.

Si Gullas sa iyang social media post alas 7 karong buntag, miangkon nga medyo uwahi iyang announcement tungod kay alas 5:19 am man ang linog.

Apan tungod kini kay kinahanglan siya’ng makigsabot sa Talisay City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Evangel Luminarias.

“Sorry if it’s a a little late. Had to coordinate with our City DepEd Superintendent, Mam Luminarias.
Due to the recent earthquake that occurred early this morning, Mam Luminarias and I decided to declare no classes in all public elementary and public high schools in the City of Talisay,”sigon sa batan-ong mayor.

Gipasabot ni Gullas nga kinahanglang susihon ang mga tunghaan kon wa ba maapiktuhi sa linog.

“Since we have high-rise classrooms which have 2 to 3 floors in schools, we will use this suspension of classes to check the integrity of our school buildings. We will also use this day to prepare if ever there will be aftershocks later in the day,”dugang niya.

Alang sa mga private schools, matod ni Gullas naa na ang desisyon sa suspension pinaagi sa mga school heads ug administrators.
