“Marcelo Fernan Bridge (2nd Bridge) is temporary closed to traffic effective 6:35 pm after a volume of fuel was spilled on the road by a tanker enroute to Mandaue City,”sigon sa Lapu-Lapu City Rescue fb page.
Ang Lapu-Lapu City Fire District ug Lapu-Lapu City Rescue personnel miadto dayon sa 2nd bridge.
“Lapulapu City Fire District and LapuLapu City Rescue personnel are still in the area flushing out from the road the high octane to avoid accidents.All Traffic going to Mandaue City and vice versa is diverted to Sergio Osmeña (1st ) Bridge,”dugang sa pahibawo.
Si Nagiel Bañacia, pangulo sa Lapu-Lapu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management, miingon nga di ikahibung kon traffic kaayo ang 1st bridge.
“Don’t be surprised if the first bridge is experiencing heavy traffic now. On going clearing operation in 2nd bridge,”matod ni Bañacia.
Gipaabot nga ablihan ra sab og balik ang 2nd bridge kon mahuman na ang paglimpyo sa fuel nga nausik.
