Ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año moduso sa paglibkas sa face shield use policy atol sa sunod nga meeting sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Kini sigon ni DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya atol sa Laging Handa briefing karong adlawa.

Sa kasamtangan, ang paggamit sa face shield gimando sa 3 Cs — closed spaces, crowded areas, ug close-contact settings.

“In the next IATF meeting, I was told that Secretary Año will be proposing na tanggalin na po ang (to already remove the) face shield requirement. But, at the end of the day, it will be the decision of the IATF,” matod ni DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya atol sa Laging Handa briefing.

Sigon ni Malaya, ang DILG mipaluyo sa anam-anam nga paghunong sa paggamit sa face shields, gawas lang sa mga hospitals.

“So, kami po sa (Us in the) DILG, we will recommend to the IATF na dahan-dahan na nating tanggalin ‘yung (to gradually remove) face shields as a requirement, except of course in hospital settings,” dugang ni Malaya.
